Rotary dryer, also named as rotary drum dryer and rotary drying machine, is energy-saving and high efficient drying equipment. Rotary dryer is widely used for drying materials in industries like cement, mine, building materials, chemistry, food and fertilizer, etc, raw material such as: sand, coal, slag, slurry, woodchips, ect.
This rotary drying machine comes with thermocouples on the feeding and discharging device to control the temperature.
 

The raw material sand will be fed into the hopper through belt conveyor or bucket elevator. Sand rotary dryer is a slightly inclined rotating cylinder with horizontal lines. Raw material sand will be fed from the higher end, while hot air enters from low-end, forming counter-current contact with the drying raw material sand. As the rotation of the cylinder, raw materials run to the end of the sand dryer under gravity. Wet raw material, in the course of the cylinder moving forward, directly or indirectly get heat from hot air which temperature is more than 500°C, for drying wet material, and then discharged through the screw conveyor or belt conveyor installed at the end of discharging part. Sand dryer is equipped with raising plate on the inside cylinder wall, and the raising plate plays the role of raising and falling down materials, increasing the contact surface between material and air flow, to improve the drying efficiency. 
1. Demand final moisture indicator can be easily controlled according to users' requirements.
2. The discharge temperature is below 50 degrees, and can be directly fed into the cooling shed without cooling or package.

4. Specially designed raising plate can maximize heat transfer between the material and hot air.
